Patterns
OUR ETHOS
We love Design.
We love patterns.
We love people.
Obviously, our creative practice was born out of love for design and pattern making. We invest many hours into research, observation, discussions. It’s a pleasure for us to pick out and test details, textures and shapes that might inform our work.
But it goes beyond that. As professionals, and also as members of society at large, we care about creating products that are both sustainable and delightful. In order to achieve this, we have consciously and strategically adopted a series of good [green] practices:
— We use slow procedures and traditional techniques.
— We only use eco-friendly, natural materials.
— We collaborate with small, local workshops and artisans.
— We support uniqueness, fairness and equality.
— We care about producing work that is not just meticulously designed but also futureproof.
